You're Here Because
Something Doesn't Add Up.

Child support in Arizona is supposed to follow a formula. But formulas only work when the inputs are honest.

Your ex is underreporting income — cash jobs, bonuses, side work — and you're stuck with a lower number
You're paying support based on outdated income — you lost a job, changed careers, or got sick
Your co-parent stopped paying altogether and you don't know how to enforce the order
You don't understand how the Arizona Child Support Guidelines actually calculate your obligation
You're going through a divorce and have no idea what child support will look like
Parenting time changed but support never got adjusted — and you're overpaying or underreceiving

In one consultation, we'll run your actual numbers through the Arizona Guidelines and tell you exactly where you stand — what's correct, what's off, and what can be changed.

Child Support Matters We Handle

Initial Child Support Orders

Getting the right number established from day one during divorce or custody proceedings.

Support Modifications

Income changed? Parenting time shifted? We file to adjust support to match your current reality.

🔒

Enforcement & Contempt

When your ex won't pay, we pursue wage garnishment, contempt filings, and other enforcement tools.

🔍

Hidden Income & Assets

Cash income, unreported bonuses, business write-offs — we investigate what's really being earned.

📊

Guidelines Calculations

We run the Arizona Child Support Guidelines with accurate inputs so you know the real number.

📋

Arrears & Back Support

Owed back support? Being pursued for arrears? We help resolve what's owed — or challenge what's wrong.

Whether you're the one paying or receiving, the goal is the same: the right number, based on real facts.

Here's What Happens During
Your Consultation

2

We Run Your Numbers

Using the Arizona Child Support Guidelines, we'll calculate what support should actually be — based on real income, real parenting time, and the factors courts actually look at.

3

You Leave With a Clear Picture

You'll know if your current order is fair, what a modification could look like, and exactly what your next step should be. Whether or not you hire us, you'll have clarity.

"When I found myself navigating custody proceedings while trying to leave a domestic violence situation, I was absolutely overwhelmed and terrified. Blake Holliday was not only incredibly skilled and knowledgeable, he was also exceedingly understanding, supportive, and most of all, ethical. There is no doubt in my mind I would not have come through it all as well as I did, mentally and emotionally, if I had not had Blake fighting by my side."

Frequently Asked Questions

How is child support calculated in Arizona?
Arizona uses the Income Shares Model — a formula based on both parents' gross income, parenting time, healthcare costs, childcare expenses, and other factors. It's designed to give kids the same proportion of parental income they'd have if the family were still together.
How much does a consultation cost?
$100 for 30 minutes. No surprises, no hidden fees.
Can child support be modified?
Yes. If there's been a substantial and continuing change in circumstances — job loss, income increase, change in parenting time, new childcare costs — you can petition the court to modify the order. We'll tell you if your situation qualifies.
What if my ex is hiding income?
It happens more than you'd think — especially with self-employed or cash-based earners. We can subpoena financial records, investigate unreported income, and present evidence to the court so the Guidelines calculation reflects real earnings, not what your ex claims.
My ex stopped paying child support. What can I do?
You have enforcement options: wage garnishment, contempt of court filings, liens on property, and interception of tax refunds. The court takes non-payment seriously. We'll help you pursue what you're owed.
Does parenting time affect child support?
Yes — significantly. The more parenting time you have, the more it can reduce your child support obligation (or increase what you receive). If your parenting schedule changed but support wasn't adjusted, you may be overpaying.
Do you handle cases outside Phoenix?
We handle child support cases throughout Arizona. Consultations can be done by phone, video, or in person at our Phoenix office.
Do you speak Spanish?
Sí. We have a bilingual attorney on staff. Nuestra firma habla español.
How soon can I schedule?
Most consultations are scheduled within the same week. For urgent matters, call us directly at 602-230-2333.
